Jessica When I return from the grocery store, the kids love to help me unpack the truck, carry the groceries inside, and put the groceries away.
Sometimes they play in the paper bags. This week Naomi brought me her scissors and asked me to show her how to cut holes for arms and heads.
I showed her how to draw a half circle along the fold, and then use the scissors to cut out a hole.
She cut out all the holes, except the one for Oliver’s head. It was the last hole, and she said the paper was too hard to cut at that spot.
She’ll be all ready for cutting out snowflakes this winter!
What everyday items do your kids like to play with around your home?

Cute idea. I will have to check out some of your other toddler activities. My 2 year old is in a phase where she loves to imitate me and “creates” miniature versions of my cleaning tools out of other random objects in the house. The other day my snow brush for my car became her broom to help sweep the leaves off the porch.
She sounds adorable and creative! Mine are 4, 2 1/2, and 7 months. I used to do “Toddler Tuesdays” here but now they’ve that my oldest is a preschooler I may have to re-think the name. 🙂
