Among our usual freebies from the mail, we also received a hand-me-down Bright Starts Pink Play Gym this week! Evelyn (4 1/2 months) has been having a good time rolling around under the dangling toys.
Actually, I wanted to also mention that I’m glad you pointed out the free play gym you received for Evelyn. God taught me a lesson in the area of “receiving”.
I love to give. I always think about ways in which I can bless others. Recently, however, we received some leftover items from a recent camping trip that the guys in our church went to. Some items were a loaf of bread, a can of coffee, and hot chocolate. My immediate response was, “Oh, he (the Kids Pastor) didn’t have to do that! He could have saved those things for the next camping trip.” I wasn’t insulted about receiving these items but I wasn’t appreciative, either because I felt they could have gone to someone in need. Lo and behold, I was that person in need. I ran out of those items before our next grocery trip and I so appreciate for those free items to get our family through the week.
Your post (Baby Evelyn)reminded me to enjoy the gifts we receive as blessings from God.
No freebies this week. Just wanted to say Evelyn is so adorable. I love her dimples!
Thanks for all the comments! I appreciate the encouragement!

Great thoughts!
Most of my freebies have been store freebies, obtained with coupons. Including some free butter and free rice.
Great work!
